She is of Irish, English, German, and Sioux Native American descent on her father's side and of Belgian, German and English descent on her mother's aspect. She has a younger brother named Drew. Taylor Dooley was raised a Christian and grew up in Glendale, Arizona, wherever her family moved when she was six.
