Which BlackBerry affected by the 5.0 firmware?

The new operating system for smartphones RIM could be released later in the week. A list of affected models which circulates only BlackBerry with at least 64 MB of memory are concerned.

According to CrackBerry sites and Boy Genius Report, apparently preparing to launch RIM's BlackBerry OS 5.0 this week. As expected, some models will unfortunately not receive the update.

From the list circulating on the Web, most existing terminals are however eligible Pearl Flip 8220/8230, 8330/8350i/8900 Curve, Bold 9000, Storm Tour 9500/9530 and 9630. Excluded are models do not have the 64 MB minimum memory requirements.

Apparently, the Storm 9530 will be the first to have received the update, as evidenced by several sites. The official announcement would be close to stick with planned launches in November of Storm 2 and the Bold 9700, both equipped with OS 5.0. ( Which BlackBerry affected by the 5.0 firmware? )
