BlackBerry Storm 2 landed in SFR from 49 euros

Available November 2 this year, the second touchscreen smartphone from Canada enjoys the latest version of BlackBerry OS.

Formalized a few days ago by RIM, the Storm 2 will be available in France November 2 next. As usual, it's SFR will be the first to market in France.

Regarded by some as a direct competitor to the iPhone with its touch screen (although the two terminals are really in the same court?), The Storm 2 will benefit from an aggressive marketing policy because it will be sold from 49 euros (149 euros less than 100 euros offer repayment) with a dedicated membership.

Enough to convince CIOs to remain very cautious vis-à-vis the terminal at the apple. But as the public increasingly fond of the BlackBerry solution, including its instant messenger.

SFR dedicated recommends three packages:

Illimythics-3G + Full Internet: from 42.90 € / month
Pros-Illimythics from 46.90 € / month
-Pro Series Limited Illimythics All Operators from 99.90 € / month

All these offers include unlimited usage in the service of sending and receiving emails (with attachments), Instant Messaging BlackBerry Messenger, surfing and the ability to download and use BlackBerry applications.

Recall that the Storm 2, which includes the design of its predecessor is 3G/3G +. It will have the BlackBerry 5.0 OS, 256 MB of flash memory with 2 GB of internal memory expandable via MicroSD HC, a camera of 3.2 megapixels and a search application with the engine Bing Microsoft.

It obviously offers direct access to shop online applications App World.

But most important is to check the quality of the touch screen (3.25 inches), so maligned in the first Storm. Technology 'touch-clickable' has been improved, we promise the next RIM with more new software for predictive text input. It is also equipped with a WiFi connection (absent on the Storm).

Enough to forget the relative failure of his predecessor? ( BlackBerry Storm 2 landed in SFR from 49 euros )
