Economic crisis: Bush launches a call to patience



The president of the George W. Bush United States stated Saturday that in spite of the tumble of the financial markets, and fears of a world recession, it was not time to give up the free-trade policies, nor to approve measures which were likely to threaten freedom to undertake.

George W. Bush expressed himself on the anxiety caused by the financial crisis at the time of her weekly radiotelevized speech. The US president, which will bring together in top the world principal leaders next on November 15, launched a call to patience and expressed its confidence in a future rebound of the economy. It called the leaders who will be present at the top of G20 to engage again on the fundamental ones of “the economic growth with the long-term: free trade, freedom to undertake and trade”.

“The Americans of all the mediums continue to feel the effects of the financial crisis”, it added. “These last weeks, concern about the availability of the credit, the safety of the financial placements and the instability of the markets made many families anxious about their economic future”.
